King David for the most part had a "Israel MindSet", A Man after GOD's Heart, Leader of a Nation, Commander of the Israelite Army,

and instantly fell from Grace in his GOD"s Eyes by falling into Temptation during the Important Prayer Hour at Sun Down.  Falling from Grace the way he did was caused by the backsliding "Jacob MindSet"  which began to move in on him when he was lounging around  on his bed during the Temptation Hour at Sun Down.

 

2Sam 11:1  And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.

2Sam 11:2  And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

2Sam 11:3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

 

Comment: In verse 11:2 At SunDown, it says "it came to pass in an eveningtide, which means a specific eveningtide, and that tells me that it was the "Evening Prayer Hour" to start the incoming Sabbath, or Incoming Fast day, and they do start at sundown of the incoming day (starts at sundown)
